A novel approach to automatically detect self- Adaptors and fidgeting, a subset of self-adaptors that has been shown to correlate with psychological distress, is proposed and it is demonstrated that the proposed model can successfully predict depression and anxiety in the dataset.
A dataset designed to foster research in depression and anxiety detection in Twitter, framing the detection task as a binary tweet classification problem and applying state-of-the-art classification models to this dataset, showing that language models perform reasonably well, and better than more traditional baselines.
