About this Dataset

The Market1501-Attributes dataset is built from the Market1501 dataset. Market1501 Attribute is an augmentation of this dataset with 28 hand annotated attributes, such as gender, age, sleeve length, flags for items carried as well as upper clothes colors and lower clothes colors.

Improving Person Re-identification by Attribute and Identity Learning

An attribute-person recognition (APR) network is proposed, a multi-task network which learns a re-ID embedding and at the same time predicts pedestrian attributes, and demonstrates that by learning a more discriminative representation, APR achieves competitive re-IDs performance compared with the state-of-the-art methods.
